Claudia, a small-town Indian girl, decides to try her luck in Mexico City, but no sooner does she arrive than she is run over by Felipe, who offers to make it up to her by hiring her as a maid. Felipes father gives her a warm welcome, believing that she is his sons fianc, causing a tremendous amount of confusion. Despite the fact that they are of different classes, Claudia begins to fall in love with Felipe. The problem is his real fianc Teresa: When Claudia discovers that Teresa has been unfaithful to Felipe, Teresa retaliates by telling lies about Claudia to get her fired. Will Claudia be able to withstand the storm and win Felipes heart?
